Abyss Below is an absolutely stellar pack of character classes, spells, curses, tables, and a merchant for Troika.

The PDF is 18 pages, with fantastic, detailed, neon-surreal artwork that perfectly fits Troika, as well as a clean, readable, well-organized layout.

Writing-wise, Abyss is excellent. Creative and flavorful are Troika's watchwords, and Abyss does not disappoint in either category.

Mechanics-wise, nothing felt confusing or unbalanced to me, although Troika balance is naturally a little loose. More importantly, everything felt like it served the goal of telling a good story. The ideas and characters of Abyss are memorable, and encourage memorable gameplay.

The closest I have to a critique is that Abyss Below doesn't commit too heavily to exploring the idea of its title. There are definitely references to the Abysses Above and Below in parts of the text, but there's also a lot of other stuff that's amazing but unrelated.

Overall, if you want to add a pack of player-facing content to Troika, you're never going to be starved for options, but this should be towards the top of your list. It's polished, stylish, deeply creative, and well-designed.
